Ms. Dana Sigalos – Board Chair
Head of Corporate Affairs-Conventional & Exploration, BHP Billiton
Ms. Dana Sigalos is the Chairwoman of the Board for Wilson Global Communications. She currently serves as Head of Corporate Affairs-Conventional & Exploration for BHP Billiton, one of the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper, uranium and oil and gas. Prior to this position, Ms. Sigalos was Director of Stakeholder Engagement & Social Responsibility for ConocoPhillips, the world’s largest independent exploration and production company based in Houston, TX. Ms. Sigalos is responsible for the development of strategies for managing stakeholder engagement, government relations and social issues related to the petroleum business.
Ms. Sigalos has served as an International Negotiator focusing on West and South Africa exploration opportunities. In Washington, DC, she worked for 11 years as a Federal Government Affairs Manager and registered lobbyist for ConocoPhillips, managing federal issues for North and South America. Prior to these positions, she was a professional Landman working in Oklahoma and Texas.
Ms. Sigalos is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management. She is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), and a Certified Professional Landman (CPL). Born and raised in Okmulgee, OK, Ms. Sigalos currently resides in Houston, TX.
