CUSEF Co-Sponsors Study on U.S.-China Relations

The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) has co-sponsored a study by the Peterson Institute for International Economics and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the impact of a possible Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between China and the U.S. As a result of the study, the report “Bridging the Pacific: Toward Free Trade and Investment between China and the United States” was recently released at the Peterson Institute in Washington D.C.

The report proposes ways to facilitate deepening economic ties between China and the U.S., and suggests that both countries will benefit substantially from a bilateral free trade and investment partnership. We believe the book is very well-written, and has a constructive contribution to the long term development of U.S.-China relations.
