FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – March 30, 2015
Hong Kong Trade Development Council is Hong Kong’s largest business trade organization, with more than 15,000 members; HKTDC offers American small businesses opportunities to partner with Asia
(WASHINGTON) –Wilson Global Communications, a leading international public relations and marketing communications consultancy, has signed a public relations partnership agreement with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to promote the Council among small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
The Washington, D.C. consultancy is inviting interested small businesses outside of Chicago to participate in the Think Asia/Think Hong Kong forum, hosted by the HKTDC in Chicago on June 10, 2015. There, participants will be able to explore business opportunities with and within the Hong Kong/Asia market.
“Wilson Global has a proven reputation in global business communication,” said HKTDC Regional Director – Americas, Ralph Chow. “We are excited about partnering with Wilson Global and look forward to our growing relationship,” he continued, “and, we’re delighted to welcome American small and medium-size businesses to participate in our forum and find partners from Hong Kong and the Asian marketplace.”
Wilson Global’s public relations services to HKTDC include: providing SMEs with customized briefings on Hong Kong and Asian market opportunities during the upcoming Chicago Think Asia/Think Hong Kong forum hosted by HKTDC. At that forum, businesses can learn specifics about the Asian marketplace, meet Hong Kong businesses and potential investors – and receive information on franchising, manufacturing and distribution – as well as pursue mutually beneficial opportunities.
Wilson Global has been connecting American and Chinese leaders since 2010 by organizing leadership delegations and managing student study programs for underserved communities. An alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Babson College program, Wilson Global’s CEO Julia Wilson, has been operating in the international marketplace for more than two decades.
“As an American small business owner, I’ve found it very exciting, and rewarding to participate in the global marketplace,” Wilson said. “Many small business owners mistakenly think that it’s not possible to do business internationally, that they can’t afford it,” she said. “But with our guidance, we can show them how they can not only enter a foreign market, but through that effort, can also create jobs and grow their businesses right here in U.S.”
“The beauty of the upcoming HKTDC forum, is that instead of taking a giant leap and traveling to Hong Kong as a first step, interested companies can meet and interact with Hong Kong and Chinese businesses without leaving the U.S.,” she added.
Interested small and medium-sized businesses should follow up with Wilson Global by phone (202) 461-2215 or email – email@example.com for more information.
